Quintano has been choosen for Zoë for this litter that is planned in winter

23-09-08: The papers for the 2nd litter are send to the breedclub for aproval. The course from now till the puppies are leaving to their new owners wil be registered here.

25-10-08: Zoë is still not in heat, this means that the litter planned for in December wil be born now in January 2009. A few weeks ago we received the aproval for this litter from the breedclub.

23-11-08: Zoë finally got into her heat and will give birth to a litter at the beginning of February.

25-11-08: Results in from the progesterontest. She is now at 0,5. Friday the second test.

28-11-08: Result 2nd test is 0,3. We won´t go to Quintano this weekend, it would be more in the direction of next weekend.

02-12-08: Her progesteron is now 0,9

06-12-08: Result in from the progesterontest from yesterday evening, she is now at 4,91. Tomorrow morning a new test to be sure, tomorrow we aspect it will be time to go to Quintano.

07-12-08: Did one more test this morning and the progesteron is now 11,4. This afternoon we go to Quintano.

10-12-08: Zoë has been to Quintano on Sunday- and Monday afternoon . We have to wait for 4 weeks now before the vet can make an echo.

02-01-09: An echo was made 3 days sooner but everything was visible. Seen ±7 pups on the echo. They can´t look at the whole area and the body can still absorb pups but the vet told me that it could be 4 to 10 pups.

07-02-09: Today at 9 hrs 40 the puppies were born by a c-section. 6 puppies and 1 unfortunately wasn't alive anymore. 2 dogs and 3 bitches between 615 gramms to 650 gramms. Mother and puppies are doing excellent.

08-02-09: Zoë starts to become a real mother and runs back in by every little squeek she hears from them she runs back to the nurserybox to check what is going on. She starts to lick the puppies a little bit. The puppies are eating good and are gaining waight, mhing aswell.

09-02-09: The waight is between 698 gramms and 756 gramms. Most of the time Zoë spends next to the puppies and starts to lick them more, she does it for sure when you hold a puppy in front of her. The wolfs claw have been removed. The pedigreenames are known yet but not which name for which puppy. For the dogs figlio di Dio and i testi sacri. For the bitches figlie di Maria,  un essere divino and giustizia divina.

 

18-02-09: The waight is between 1348 gramms and 1517 gramms. Zoë takes fully care of the puppies since 4 days now on her own. Two puppies opened their eyes today and by the others the eyes are partial open.

19-02-09: The other 3 puppies opened their eyes aswell today.

20-02-09: Three puppies are trying this morning to walk, it´s not a steady secure one but it´s their first steps. They found out that they can bark and growl. There goes my nightrest.

22-02-09: The waight is now between 1709 gramms and 1843 gramms. Since yesterday they don´t want to spend the whole time in their box but somewhere in their playground. They control their barking better by the day and it goes louder aswell. They have changed so much in those 2 weeks and their characters get clearer by the day. They all liked to be hugged but a few adore it while the others  want to hugg less, they are more restless and spicer, they mostly want to undertake things and explore, even though it won´t always work out but then they just start barking etc..

   

 

27-02-09: for the first time they have been outside but they didn´t like it that much and made a lot of noise, so after 8 minutes brougt them back inside. Today they had aswell for the first time porridge, they need to get used to that except 2 they kept eating.

   

01-03-09: The puppies aren´t playing with eachother anymore but aswell with Zoë. Zoë is so sweet and carefull with them, it´s just amusing to see that play. But to bite in brother of sisters muzzle is still super.

     

   

07-03-09: for the first time they slept outside and stayed outside for a couple of hours, playing and sleeping together.

   

08-03-09: Below the faces of the puppies, starting with the bitches red-yellow-light green and underneath the dogs brown-green

   

   

08-03-09: together they are on reconnoitring in the garden

     

   

10-03-09: First time that they got fresh meat with vegetables for dinner. They had no problems with that. 

    

     

12-03-09: Sometimes they get "Brinta" with buttermilk but mostly fresh meat and dry food. Still they eat the dry food only with buttermilk (but is not their favorite combination) but combined with fresh meat it is delicious.     Male-dogs (brown - green)

19-03-09: The puppies are growing well, they play and frolic so lovely together and with Zoë. The daffodils have to suffer for it atleast the ones that I didn't protect with wire-netting aswell the camellia by the terrace. Today I gave them for the first time a dried paunch, 3 figured out what to do with it but 2 loved the smell but didn't understand  what the meaning was of it. All the puppies are sold, from which 3 are going to Germany (2 male-dogs, 1 to Fam. Niedziela in Ruhland and 1 to Mr. Braun in Au - by Freiburg and 1 bitch to Fam. Krey in Ruppichteroth-Winterscheid), 1 bitch goes to Belgium (Mr. v. Wijngaarden and Miss. Horemans in Kapellen) and 1 bitch stays with me (with the lightgreen colourband).

     

20-03-09: Again I tried to feed the puppies dry food without any buttermilk or fresh meat and this time it was  successful, they have eaten it without any problems.
